Programa Mano Amiga celebrates its 20th edition: 10 years impacting more than half a million people in Puerto Rico
San Juan, Puerto Rico, March 5, 2026 – The Plaza Las Américas Foundation (FPLA) and the Plaza Del Caribe Foundation (FPDC) announce the start of the new application period for the 20th edition of the Programa Mano Amiga, marking a milestone of 10 years of continuous service to the community.
During this decade, the Program has impacted more than 500,000 people through a social investment exceeding $4 million, establishing itself as a bridge of support and resources for non-profit organizations committed to the development and well-being of Puerto Rico.
The 20th edition aims to continue strengthening the program's impact, respond to the current needs of communities, and ensure alignment with the strategic priorities of both foundations.

Application Period
The application cycle will be open from March 1 to March 31, offering eligible organizations the opportunity to submit their proposals during this period.
In this edition, the Programa Mano Amiga will support non-profit entities that offer services in the following areas: Education, Art and Culture, Health, and Women's Empowerment.
Since 2016, the Programa Mano Amiga has served as a strategic ally for organizations that work every day to improve the quality of life in Puerto Rico, supporting proposals with a positive and sustainable impact.
