Students From the Nemesio R. Canales School Create a Christmas Card For Plaza Las Américas
(San Juan, Puerto Rico- December 6, 2024)- Plaza Las Américas welcomed today the students of the Nemesio R. Canales elementary school to share with them a morning full of fun and joy on the occasion of the unveiling of the Christmas card developed by the students of the school next to the shopping center.
This is the twenty-eighth (28th) edition of the Plaza Las Américas Christmas Card contest, which is celebrated with the students of the Kindergarten, first, second, third grade and special education students of the Nemesio R. Canales elementary school. The student who won the first prize, and whose design is the shopping center’s Christmas card, is Giovanniel Esperón Rivera from second grade.
The students shared a morning at the shopping center to take their photo with Santa, enjoy a snowfall and conclude their morning with games at Dave & Buster’s.
The designs of all the cards along with the winning card are on display in windows in a store next to JCPenney on the first level. The winning Christmas card design can also be seen in the shopping center’s digital directories in an animated version.
