Fonalledas Foundation Awards Scholarships to Outstanding Young Women from
the University of the Sacred Heart
San Juan, Puerto Rico– As part of its commitment to education and the development of our communities with economic needs, the Fonalledas Foundation awarded its first scholarships during the 2026 academic year, in partnership with the University of the Sacred Heart, following an initial contribution of $100,000 made in 2024.
The first recipients of the Fonalledas Foundation Scholarship Fund are Alanis Cartagena and Samantha González, third- and fourth-year students, respectively, in the School of Communications.
This fund supports students with financial need who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and social commitment through annual assistance of $2,500 to help cover educational expenses.
Through initiatives like this one, at Empresas Fonalledas we continue creating opportunities that positively impact Puerto Rico’s future.
