PLAZA LAS AMÉRICAS INCREASES ITS COMMERCIAL OFFERINGS

Two new stores open and 6 new stores are expected to open including the reopening of A/X Armani Exchange

San Juan, Puerto Rico – With Back to School just around the corner, Plaza Las Américas announced that the APM Mónaco and Studio F stores have opened, and 6 new stores are about to open their doors, which will increase its commercial offer by some 19,000 additional square feet. The new offering includes options for fashion, dining, the return of the renowned brand A/X Armani Exchange and the relocation and expansion of Aerie.

“Our fashion and gastronomy pillars continue to strengthen with the arrival of new concepts, which all our visitors will be able to enjoy. These new openings confirm the commitment to continue listening to our customers and, in response, attract concepts that meet these preferences”, said Edwin Tavárez, General Manager of Plaza Las Américas. “We are at a great moment in our history with over 70,000 new square feet of commercial spaces that have opened or will open this year, the best volume of traffic in more than seven years, and excellent sales performance from our stores,” concluded Tavárez.

APM Monaco opened next door to Euromoda Sport on the first level, with approximately 900 square feet. Founded in 1982, APM Monaco is a contemporary fashion jewelry brand associated with the elegance of Monaco and the lifestyle of the South of France.

Also, Studio F, a renowned Colombian fashion brand, opened next to Modernica, on the first level. With a spacious 3,300 square foot storefront, Studio F offers a wide variety of sleek and modern clothing and accessories designed especially for the stylish and sophisticated Latina woman.

On the other hand, the opening of the Bimba y Lola, Zafiro, A/X Armani Exchange and Gioseppo stores are expected soon, as well as Panchitos and Pa’l Pita restaurants and the expansion of Aerie with its Offline By Aerie line. Bimba y Lola, a Spanish fashion firm, whose founders are the nieces of the renowned designer Adolfo Domínguez, is scheduled to open in October with an offer of quality and designer clothing and accessories at an affordable price for the modern woman. It will be located on the first level next to Tous, in a space of approximately 2,000 square feet. That same month, Zafiro is expected to open, which will be located on the second level next to PacSun in a 3,800-square-foot store. This store offers exclusive brands and accessories for men among which are: Psycho Bunny, James Bark, Gooring Bros and Zafiro, among others.

This August, the Spanish brand Gioseppo, dedicated to the sale of shoes and sneakers for women, men and children, arrives at PLAZA. The establishment will be located on the second level between Carolina Herrera and Sumaq with a space of approximately 1,200 square feet. A/X Armani Exchange returns to the mall during the month of September in approximately 4,400-square-foot space on the first level between Sephora and Victoria’s Secret. The store, from the Giorgio Armani SPA company and based in Milan, is dedicated to the sale of t-shirts, jeans, polo shirts and sports jackets with an urban style. Also, Aerie will relocate and expand with the arrival of its division, OFFLINE By Aerie, the Aerie-branded sportswear line, which will open in November. The new space will be located on the first level across from American Eagle Outfitters, at approximately 6,700 square feet.

In terms of gastronomy, Panchitos is expected to open in November in the La Terraza area. Panchitos, which will have its own “seating area”, is an innovative and emblematic concept of Mexican food prepared with top quality ingredients and a unique flavor. The public will be able to delight in its 1,300 square foot premises of a “Margarita Bar” with Margaritas of different flavors, as well as Craft Beers. On the second level of the mall, next to Smash Burger, will open Pa’l Pita, a renowned brand specializing in Mediterranean food. With a locale of approximately 500 square feet, the public will be able to enjoy its famous gyros, hummus, falafel and much more.

These new stores and restaurants add to Plaza Las Américas’ extensive fashion, entertainment and gastronomy offer, and reinforces its position as an ideal shopping destination in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
