The group's assets include properties in urban, suburban, and rural areas, dairy farming operations, a fresh milk and juice drink processing and bottling plant, soft-serve premium ice cream retail chain, a plastic manufacturing company. a super-regional shopping center in the heart of San Juan, a regional shopping center in Ponce, three office buildings and the company that operates Starbucks stores in Puerto Rico, among others. Together, these companies contribute significantly to Puerto Rico’s economy and are promoters of education, art, and culture through the philanthropic organizations that are part of the group. Empresas Fonalledas, Inc. provides services to its sister businesses. In 2015, we created a Transparency initiative about our group of companies, where we demonstrate with Actions our Commitment to our country Puerto Rico (TAC). This corporate communication channel evolved in July 2023, with their respective Facebook and X (Twitter) pages to Empresas Fonalledas to be aligned with the identity of this website and to further strengthen our communication ties.

The Mano Amiga Program, a joint initiative of Plaza Las Américas Foundation and Plaza Del Caribe Foundation, was created to contribute to Puerto Rico's social improvement by supporting the efforts of primarily non-profit entities related to the priorities of each of the foundations. Mano Amiga offers aid to art and culture, education, environmental protection, social welfare, and health programs.
